Pinaki Ranjan Das is B.Sc. Tech. In Textile Tech. From the University of Calcutta and M.Tech. in Fibre Sc & Tech. (IIT-D), Dip in Ex-Imp (IIEIM, Mum, member IIFT, Delhi ), Strategic Management ( IIM-C). He has three decades of experience as a senior textile professional in the areas of Marketing (domestic & exports), Business Development, Production Planning, Supply Chain, and Project execution. His focus areas of expertise are in marketing/business development/production planning of Textile commodities ( Polyester chips, Texturised yarns, FDY, Mono, HT/IDY, POY, Dope Dyed, Yarn Dyed, Nylon HT, PP HT, BCF yarns, Blends – P/V, P/V/Lycra, P/C… ), Recycled yarns, specialties, unsaturated polyester resins, Exports ( PES POY, DTY, FDY, IDY, CHIPS.., NYLON HT, PP HT, BCF YARN..). He has handled more than 200 products and gathered vast knowledge. He has developed and fine-tuned many synthetic yarn products.
My Skills
He is also having experience in Petrochemical / Textile Capital equipment / Project selling and in E-commerce services (E-Buy: Reverse Auction and E-sell: Solution). He spearheaded the implementation of two Synthetic Textiles Projects (Polyester Recycling and Nylon, Polypropylene High Tenacity, BCF Yarns) from concept to commissioning, thus possessing experience in two complete business cycles.
