Overview

Neelesh Kamath has completed his B.Text (Textile Chemistry) from DKTE, Ichalkaranji, and M.Tech (IIT-Delhi) Fibre Science & Technology and Exec.PGDM from IIM-Kozhikode with specialization in Marketing and Strategy. He is a multi-faceted, and multi-talented Textile Post Graduate with work experience ranging from Textiles, Garments, Sourcing, Quality, Marketing& Sales, Retail Analytics, Export-Import documentation, Data Science, etc to name a few. His first stint was with ARVIND MAFATLAL  GRP as a Management Trainee. He was subsequently groomed for a higher position with short-term induction at S.P.Jain Institute of Mgmt Studies, Andheri, Mumbai.

My Skills

While during his tenure at ARVIND MAFATLAL GRP he became an expert in his field of Quality Assurance with exposure to many International brands & later at ARVIND MILLS, he oversaw the brands-wise accreditation of QA Labs, New Product Development (NPD), Customer Service & trouble shooting in relation to garments and fabrics supplied.

  • He has also been overseas to Africa, where he was exposed to the Sales of Textiles/ Garments & Make-ups/ Chemicals, etc.
  • Also, he imported goods from around the world, including their quality, sourcing, and import documentation.
  • After a brief stint, he returned to India where he worked in retail with a distributor and learned the ropes quickly mainly the analytics part.
  • He is an avid reader and keeps himself abreast of the latest developments in Technology, Sciences, and Management.
